Centrum Kunstlicht in de Kunst presents from September 27th 2008 up to januari 25th 2009 inclusive re-ACT, interactive works of art including light.. This exhibition consists of 9 works and spatial installations, which react in different ways on visitors. Experience what happens if you touch a work, how it reacts on your proximity or how you can become a part of it.

In November 2007 Centrum Kunstlicht in de Kunst initiated the second edition of the Frits Philips artificial-light-art contest by inviting artists to submit designs for works combining light and interactivity. 86 contestants, both from the Netherlands and abroad answered the invitation. From the proposals, a jury has selected 9, which will be realised by their creators. The results will be shown in re-Act.

During the opening of the exhibition on September 27th, the winner of the Frits Philips artificial-light-art prize, which consists of a roulating trophy, a certificate and €5000 will be announced.
