Schools

For pupils from both primary and secondary education special programs have been developed. For all these programs an admission fee of € 2.50 p.p. is charged. Teachers and accompanying people are free of charge. One or more (depending on the size of the group) mediators at a charge of € 25 each will be present for the museum.

Primary education, 7 to 11 years
With a discovery questionnaire the pupils in small groups can look at a temporal exposition and get acquainted with modern art in a playful way. At the same time they are made to reflect on things like light, shadow, colour and form. For every new exhibition a new questionnaire is offered.

With Blik op Kunst (an eye on art) the pupils are given do-assignments based on the own collection of the museum. The assignments are in the categories writing, drawing, observing expression own ideas and fantasy. They learn a lot about looking at art, but also at themselves and each other.

Secondary education 12 to 16 years
Similar to the primary education programs, but adapted to their age group.
Especially the Blik op Kunst program will be attractive for this age group. It can be a sound basis for an essay on art.
