 Curricula at any level, suitable for every teacher

At the Spotlights exhibition, extensive curricula are available for schools. A curriculum consists of a lesson in shape of a letter for a preparation lesson at school, a lesson at the museum accompanied by a teacher of the museum, and one for a final lesson in class. Together with this lesson in shape of a letter images – in shape of a Powerpoint presentation – will also be provided.

The curricula are available for the following levels:

-          primary school (the first two classes)

-          primary school (the last two or three classes)

-          secondary education (General Secondary Education)

-          secondary education (Senior General Secondary Education)

-          secondary education (Pre-University Education)

The use of the curricula and assistance by teachers of the museum is not free of charge: there are expenses for each student.  For more information please contact Marlous Gooskens by e-mail  

Visiting the museum on your own with the childrens guide

Apart from the curricula it is possible to visit the museum on your own. To do this you can use the guide  – which classify the exhibitions with regard to suitability for audiences – suitable for children from 6 until 12 years old. The free guide can be picked up at the desk. Will you please make sure that there are at least 3 companions per class? 

New in the museum is Spot, the museum dog.

He helps the children or students to discover the museum.

A season ticket for children, which costs only 3 euros a student

Apart from the fact that the season ticket for children is very nice as a gift, it is also possible for schools to use the season ticket for their students. This way students can visit the museum without a limit both for school purposes and for private purposes during the entire school year. The season ticket is profitable for schools that want to visit more exhibitions per school year with their students. The costs for a museum guide, when you are using the curricula, will be charged per visit. The season ticket is also attractive when teachers want their students to do assignments in the museum independently.
