Supercombi 2010

Four times per year Centrum Kunstlicht in de Kunst organises the so-called Supercombi.

A special arrangement in which you are visiting Centrum Kunstlicht in de kunst as well as the original Philips Factory and the Light Application Centre (LAC) of Philips Lighting Division. On all three locations special attention and extensive tours are given, showing different aspects of artificial light such as: Art, history, technics and psychology. The LAC, which normally is not open to the general public, offers an unique exception in this framework only.

The arrangement starts at 12.45 hrs till 17.00 hrs costs Euro 13.50 per person (including coffee or tea). You can book at Centrum Kunstlicht in de kunst, tel *31 40 27 55 183 or . There is a limited number of attendants and the tours are in the dutch language only.

Wanted: culture pessimist

On Sunday 5 September 18 cultural organizations of Eindhoven will open their doors with Hallo Cultuur! for a free acquaintance. The audience can go into every participating organization without paying for admission and can get a taste of what the organizations have to offer in the cultural season 2010/2011.

Do you know someone who does never go to an exciting concert, who doesn’t want to go see a great theatre performance, or who even doesn’t want to make time to go to the movie? In short, there is someone close to your environment who doesn’t have anything to do with culture in any possible way and you think that he or she does like a challenge? Make that person enrol himself/herself for the culture drop! During this drop he or she will visit, together with the organization and a reporter of the Eindhovens Dagblad, a number of cultural organizations and will get the chance to adjust his or her opinion on culture. 

Enrolment is possible via stating ‘cultuurdropping’. You will be given notice by e-mail.
